MANCHESTER – There’s still a lot of work to be done and money to be raised for the Michael Briggs Community Center renovation project.

Volunteers and business officials held a planning meeting Friday morning to discuss the project’s progress, where a “Building on Hope’s $100K GoFundMe” page was launched at the beginning of last month to bring in donations for the community center.
In conclusion, the Manchester Police Athletic League (MPAL) said that they’ve “had many businesses come forward we are still a long way away from our goal to renovate the facility and could really use a boost in terms of business support and public donations.”
They also said that a fair amount of demo has been done in the building and that officials are working to pull more support in from the business population.
If you’d like to donate funds in support of the renovation, visit the project’s GoFundMe page.
