BOH/Nashua PAL vs. COVID-19

Faced with the rapidly changing circumstances of COVID-19, we are all confronted with having to make unprecedented decisions in our businesses and personal lives. First and foremost, we hope you and your families are safe and healthy during this stressful time.

The Building on Hope Steering Committee decided today that we will pause in-person meetings for the time being and move Build Week, originally scheduled in May, to sometime after Labor Day. Specific dates will be considered as we continue to monitor recommendations from officials. This decision, while difficult, is one we believe puts our volunteers, Nashua PAL, and our partners, in the best position for a successful build.

If any group is equipped to roll with the unexpected and make it all work, it is certainly this one. Rest assured, we are exploring ways to stay connected over the next several months in order to continue the incredible momentum that’s been building for the past year, thanks to the dedication and pure passion of this group.

We are sensitive to the uncertainty many businesses are currently experiencing and hope that this pause comes as a sigh of relief as you navigate the next few weeks and months.

We will share additional information as we solidify plans.

We are a group of community-minded people who don’t give up, no matter how many challenges we face. We look forward to the day when we can file this in the “remember that project when…” memory bank.
